My favorite thing about this spring engagement session in New York City is the adorable couple: Lauryn & Patrick! Of course!! BUT my second favorite thing is how much GREEN we were able to find in the city! Patrick and Lauryn love living in the city, but said they know it won’t last forever. So having their engagement session photographed here was a great way to capture their love of the city for forever keeping!
Oh heyyyy to these cuties!! What do you get when you combine a talented creative (+ wedding planner), a head-over-heels-in-love-couple, and a beautiful venue?! T.H.I.S. adorableness! I had so much fun with these two, learning about their love story and watching them turn their flirting and snuggling up a notch for the camera! I always say… just like you add a little extra make-up for the camera, turn up your affection, too! These two succeeded and as a result they have some adorable engagement portraits to treasure forever!
I am so happy with this engagement session from downtown Lynchburg, Virginia! These two had such incredible chemistry! They laughed and flirted throughout their entire session and made my job so super easy! I loved my time with them! I first met Marilyn at Tyler & Chelsea’s wedding back when I was super duper pregnant with my youngest, Izzie, and I was waddling around from location to location to capture their wedding day. Marilyn was the wedding planner and she did an amazing job shooing people on and off the party bus while helping me make the most of our tight timeline. She mentioned she was impressed with my flexibility and wanted to book me for her own engagement + wedding pictures! What a huge compliment!!
When Kimberly reached out to me about photographing her wedding at Sweet Briar College (with the reception at Timberlake Tavern), the first thing she said was “we are having a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family.” Immediately I was eager to hear more!
