I know I'm not supposed to have favorites, but I can't help it this time. This wedding is one of my all time favorite weddings I've ever shot and you'll soon see why. You've likely seen a few of these pictures before. This is one of my featured weddings in my portfolio and it was recently featured on Love & Lavender blog. But I have been eager to get it on my own blog for quite some time!
There were so many unique and beautiful elements to Freddy & Caitlin's big day that kept my creative eye constantly going as the day unfolded. Their venue, Nesselrod on the New, was packed with a variety of beautiful scenes and pockets of light. We had SO much to work with. Additionally, a car accident in the distance (and Freddy being a State Police Officer required to respond in some manner) and a random downpour during the reception made for some of my favorite pictures and stories I'll probably share a lot in the future. :)
Caitlin and Freddy's love of family runs deep. Their wedding had just 48 guests, almost all of which were family. It was awesome having the opportunity to watch as they interacted with the most important people in their lives. Of course the contrasting, colorful details added a fun touch of whimsy to the day. But nothing beats the personalities of these two. Caitlin is as cute as a button and so much fun with her adorable expressions and humble spirit. Freddy's admiration for her kept most everyone's emotions on check all day long. Just, pure adorableness and true love. For real.
Okay, okay. The pictures!
