Last Thursday, Valentine's Day, was the Second Annual I Dream of a Wedding event sponsored by Hill City Bride. This years couple, Gabe and Erika, were absolutely adorable, sooo in love, and super laid back... a perfect combination for planning a dream wedding with various preselected vendors! I was honored and excited to have been selected to shoot Erika's bridal portrait session on the grounds of the West Manor Estate. We met up last fall for this session so I have been holding onto these pictures for a LONG time. I'm super excited to share them with you! Thanks again to Jennifer, the heart and soul behind the I Dream of a Wedding project and for inviting me to be a part of the big event again this year! Katie's Bridals | Virginia Wedding Photographer
This past weekend we shot the stunning farm wedding of Katie and Chris. I am still feeling a little speechless about the whole day… but at the risk of sounding cliche, Katie and Chris are were absolutely made for one another. It was such a joy to capture their pure happiness throughout the day. As always, I am SO excited to share the pictures. (Check out a sneak peek on Facebook!) For now though - here's a glimpse of Katie's bridal session held at the same location as the wedding. Katie, a soybean and corn farmer, was all dressed up for her beautiful day. I LOVE the way these pictures tell you so much about her. She is a farm girl through and through, she loves her soybean fields, pick up trucks, and hanging out by the water. I love the contrast of beauty and elegance against the dust of the environment. Love, love.

Brent and Kayla | Lynchburg Engagement Photographer
Brent and Kayla are such a sweet couple... a quiet, classy duo who fit in perfectly with the classic feel of Downtown Lynchburg. A graphic design major and a criminal justice major found chemistry in a speech class. Hah - how's that for an overuse of college terms? :) "The teacher's pet," he called her. And her bashful response made it clear why he fell for her sweet spirit. I so enjoyed last Friday morning with these two as we explored downtown for their engagement session. The day was beautiful and Kayla and Brent were up for anything. The chemistry between them is ALL over these pictures, they made my job so easy! These are some of my favorite engagement pictures I've ever taken.
Brent and Kayla, I am so happy for you guys! I am looking forward to catching a glimpse of your beautiful Maine wedding next spring and hearing about the after-college job hunting adventures! Angela | Fredericksburg Wedding Photographer
