I probably sound like a broken record saying “This is one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever photographed!” but I wouldn’t be a growing artist if I couldn’t keep saying that - right? :) In all honesty, this family was so pleasant to work with. Baby Levi was an absolute gem, sleeping through his entire session! Mom and dad weren’t afraid to show him all the love and affection and they all made my job so easy to grab some great captures of their photogenic family. :)
It feels like only yesterday I was photographing this guy’s big brother in the hospital! I can’t believe already been more than two years since that first session with this family! I remember what a sweet and easy model Big Brother G was, so I’m not surprised at what a breeze sweet Fielder was to photograph this time around.
When Linda reached out to me to book a newborn session with me, I was so excited! I knew she had been waiting for this season of life and I was so excited to finally have the opportunity to work with her! After she secured her session with her retainer fee and contract, she contacted me and asked to add on hair and makeup services as well since she thought she might feel overwhelmed and tired as a brand new mama. (Good thinking, Linda!)
Not long after this little guy came to see me at my natural light studio in Lynchburg, VA for his newborn session, I made the one hour trip out to his home in Gretna, VA to capture what life looks like for his family now that he has made his arrival. In-home newborn sessions are reserved for clients who book 3 or more photo sessions with me in their baby's first year.
This sweet little boy is baby number five born to a household of four other boys! Can we say #boymom?! I have had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family over the past few years, including one of his older brother's newborn sessions and a few family sessions along the way! This time around, Myer's parents decided to make the most of the quietness of the studio and allow this session to be 100% focused on only Myer. They were able to relax on the couch in the lounge area and enjoy the stillness of the space while I started with his individual portraits and once those were complete, we finished up with a series of portraits with his parents loving all over him!
