When to Book Maternity Photography and Why
Timing your maternity photo session is important to ensure you capture that perfect pregnancy glow. The best time to reserve your session date for your maternity photoshoot is as soon as you have reached your second trimester. Once your session is reserved, we recommend scheduling your session during weeks 32-36 of your pregnancy. During this time your belly is beautifully rounded, you’re usually still comfortable, and you have more energy before nearing the end of your pregnancy.
Booking early is useful as it offers you more flexibility. As your pregnancy progresses, both your and our schedules typically get more hectic, and you may feel more tired or busy as you approach your due date. It also gives us ample time to discuss ideas, locations, outfits, and any special touches you'd like to include in your session.
