Happy August!

Yay for August!

Around here, August is full of excitement! In the next few weeks we will celebrate Tommy's birthday, we'll be one month closer to fall (trail running race season, wedding season part II, and family portrait season), we will go on vacation (10 days! Our longest vaca ever!), and right now... well... it's potty training month. Yikes!

-------------- Beware: Potty training talk below. --------------

Sunday is currently at her grandmommie's house being introduced to the potty (and being diaper-free for a bit) and I am in the process of bringing the cloth diapers out again and reading up on my potty training education. This two week training session will be a little trial... we shall see how it goes. If we fail, we'll probably give up and wait another year before trying again. That's the plan, anyway! (BTW: I'm using Oh, Crap. Potty Training to train ME to train her. :))

-------------------------------- All done!  ---------------------------------

I am excited to be planning for our vacation and I'm looking forward to getting some fantastic beach pictures while we're there. For now, I'm plugging away on finishing up sessions and getting some more blog posts in queue! Oh the joys of my day-to-day. <3

But, first - I owe you all an announcement! The winner of last week's giveaway has been chosen - by random.org, of course. (Ugh I could NOT pick a winner if I had to. I love you all too much!)

Okay - getting to it! And... the winner of the Favorite Things Giveaway is.....!! Dum dum dummmm....

Olivia Fridgen!

Yay! Congrats, Olivia! I'm so excited to get all the goods in your hands!

Thanks to EVERYONE who entered and spread the word! I so appreciate your love and support. <3

Okay, gotta go take advantage of baby-free time and keep knocking things off the to-do list! I'll be back tomorrow with another sweet photo session to share.
