I have been thoroughly enjoying my fall season of work. Of course, there's always a balance to be found between wanting to spend time with my family and needing to work on the computer, but couples like Kevin and Kailyn make the working part a lot more fun.
Kevin, Kailyn and I met at the Peaks of Otter lodge a couple of weekends ago and talked about life, love, and all the stuff in between! They were married about 5 years ago and wanted to capture this season of their lives together before things changed again. I absolutely love that they see the value in capturing this time together. Tommy and I have couples portraits done together every few years just to spend time reconnecting and reflecting on all we've been through. But most importantly, our priority is to capture "us" during different seasons of our lives. How fun will it be for our children to look through pictures of us throughout the years together! Aside from that, even though it's only an hour or so, it's fun to have an excuse to be extra romantic together. I think Kevin and Kailyn felt the same at the end of their session!

Thank you for taking our pictures! We had a wonderful time, and love the photos! Kevin generally doesn’t like having his picture taken, and I may have had to coax him into it. ;) He did tell me ,when we left that evening, that it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the great experience, and capturing this time in our lives. You are so sweet, and we couldn’t have hoped for anything more.
