This girl is FUN, y'all. She laughs so much and just straight up enjoys life. I love spending time with her!
Megan is another local photographer in town and it is always, always an honor to have another photographer ask me to take their portraits. I was a little nervous going into the session (especially because Megan texted me prior and told me she was AWKWARD in front of the camera - psssh lies) but as soon as we started hanging out, I knew this was going to go very well. I don't care how awkward someone may feel - when you are a photographer, you just know how to work it. You know how to turn your head perfectly against the light, how to tilt your chin up just a teeny bit, and how to make a real laugh happen. If photographers around the world weren't all busy building their businesses, I'd say a few of them would have a really great shot at being models. (AmIright, Zack?!) For real. Megan included!
Okay, so....! We shot for about 30 minutes the other day when it was fa-reeezing outside. I love these pictures. Winter light is KILLING me. (Megan's giant smile helps a bit, too. :) :)) Having "tiner light" basically means the space between me and my subjects this time of year doesn't have a thick humidity falling between us. The light is just portrayed so beautifully. Love, love.
Thanks, Megan, for having me capture you during this season of your business and for being willing to withstand the freezing temperatures for these shots!
