This family holds a special place in my heart! Some of my Santa visitors may recognize Lauren as she often helps me during our Santa Experience weekend! I first met Lauren when her husband, Gerald, bought her a mini session as a gift to capture the season of life when their oldest daughter, Hailey, was just a toddler! Since then (9 years?!), I have had the honor of not only photographing more of their life’s special events, but also growing closer to their family! Our husbands are friends, our children are friends, and we and have even been on a few vacations together. They are truly a gift. <3
We had been planning this session for a while so I was giddy when it finally got here - Lauren did a wonderful job with their clothing choices (after a handful of text message conversations between us!) and to top it off, the location was stunning and the weather ideal! Plus, I just love this crew so much - I enjoyed capturing them in a new season of life together!
Every now and then I have a client who suggests “something different,” than where they have previously had sessions. One of my go-to locations for this request is the stunning Old City Cemetery near downtown Lynchburg. We have even had our own family portraits captured at this location. You can’t let that Cemetery element scare you. It’s truly a lovely location.
