my cup overflows | lynchburg commercial art photographer

I am feeling so blessed today.

My windows are open, the sun is shining. I have some of the most wonderful people in my life. I absolutely love my job and how it is teaching me discipline, responsibility and other normal life lessons that I avoided learning until now.

So recently I mentioned on Twitter that I have been working on some commercial work and a "special project." I have been really excited about the opportunity I had to partner with one of the biggest companies in town on some photography work. The project was to take black and white photos of historical sites and landmarks in the area. Lynchburg locals will be able to see 25 of my images enlarged and on display around the new Forest, VA Kroger set to open on April 15th (Woohoo tax day!). As far as I know, the pictures will be up until they decide to update the store when it becomes outdated one day. (One day far, far away from now!)

It was an honor to get to work with such a wonderful company and to dip my hands into a bit of commercial work. One job has already turned into another and I'm having a great time with the assignments I have been given.

The image above was captured while on the historical sites assignment... and can I just say how much  I love my town? I keep trying to talk Tommy into moving away... but then I see an image like the one above and I have to ask myself if I am crazy.

I have been so blessed. My cup is overflowing. :)

I hope ya'll are having a fab day, too!
