When Brian contacted me about doing a professional head shot session, I knew right away this was going to be a fun little excursion. After a few emails were exchanged he sent along a picture of the feel he had in mind for his session. It was darker than my usual, urban as opposed to my preferred garden backdrops, and masculine (to my feminine). I was so excited for something different! For some reason, the location idea came to me immediately even though it was a place I had never shot before. It was only about three streets over from my usual "downtown Lynchburg" location, but three streets was enough for a completely different look and feel. It turned out to be perfect. The session was quick, but Brian was an awesome model and we got a lot of variety in just about 20 minutes. It was so refreshing to work in a new place with a whole different look and feel that I had been used to.
