On occasion I will hear from a mom who has experienced something all mamas do: a sudden urge to freeze time as soon as humanly possible in the form of professional pictures. This mama will reach out to me and and asks me to squeeze her into my schedule right away. If I can, I do. And if I can’t, I offer my next available date!
Natalie's Fresh48 Session
When Nicole reached out to me about possibly photographing her Fresh48 and Newborn sessions, I was honestly completely shocked! Nicole is an incredibly talented Fine Art Wedding Photographer who travels the world photographing weddings. She has a fine taste for all things: travel locations, home decor, quality clothing and materials and of course, photography. So to have her book me for pictures of her most favorite thing in the world (her sweet baby girl!) was just an absolute honor.
Sweet Baby Arabella's Newborn Session
This little sweet pea came earlier than her everyone expected and she was a teeny little thing! I had such a lovely time both snuggling her and of course photographing her. I don’t always get to snuggle babies if they arrive asleep and ready for their close-up. Usually I just scoop them right onto the beanbag and get to work! But if they are awake I get to have some snuggles while I try to put them back to sleep and I love those opportunities!
Emily's Maternity Session
If you have ever had a photo shoot with me and choose to add-on professional hair and make-up, you have probably met Emily! Emily is a mama of five, a talented hair and make-up artist, and one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. I love every chance we get to chat and catch up on life in between running our own businesses! I loved collaborating with her on this shoot and capturing the vision she had for it! This summer maternity session in a field was full of dreamy sunset light and intimate moments.
Patrick & Lauryn | New York City Engagement Session
My favorite thing about this spring engagement session in New York City is the adorable couple: Lauryn & Patrick! Of course!! BUT my second favorite thing is how much GREEN we were able to find in the city! Patrick and Lauryn love living in the city, but said they know it won’t last forever. So having their engagement session photographed here was a great way to capture their love of the city for forever keeping!
